Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy EPV Approved Course for Primary Teachers:  Monday 4th - Friday 8th July 2022

 

Venue: St Joseph’s Secondary School, Spanish Point. Time: 10am - 2.30pm (Inc 30 min break)

 

Our EPV approved course will run each day, Monday to Friday, in parallel with the general morning workshops of the summer school. The course will be specifically for primary school teachers who wish to gain EPV days.

This course will focus on teaching music and dance in the Primary School Classroom. Individual classroom practice will be explored as will resources for the implementation of the music curriculum. This will be a lecture-based course allowing for professional dialogue. 

​

Please note that our EPV course does not enable you to take a morning workshop from the general programme, as in previous years. 

 

Students registered for the EPV course have free access to afternoon events at the summer school: lectures, recitals, activities at the Marquee, and reduced admission to all céilithe.
